got efi'd today

Title says it. Got it installed, when for a drive... all I can say is holy fu*k. I had a big ass smile on my face. My girl was with me. I was able to do a burn out with my 38.5's and get the ass end a little squirrely with no problem. My girl asked why did my truck do that... I told her because it has efi and it can. I had diablo on 120hp it had nothing compared to efi.

Big thanks to Jess at Husker Diesel... this sh!t is fockin awsome.

Anyone who is thinking of efi, I recommend it, and go through Jess at Husker Diesel.

compared to anything else it is a small price to pay.

Look at it this way...

Can you use it to run any tune from any tuner..yes.
Can you make your own adjustments yourself..yes
Can you tune another truck without paying more..yes
Do you get free updates..yes

An then add the ability to log your truck for diag and repairs and better tunes, you cant beat it.

I say $799 is a steal IMHO. Full control of your truck.

I am officially off the fence now I will be buying an EFI if i can ever get the bugs worked out of this thing. I bought it Sept 29 and everytime i drive it something else breaks I don't want to keep throwing money at a lemon.

I'm with you I could not afford it. But I decided to mess around with my intake heater to get better flow. Kept getting p0540 heater codes. So I decided have to bite the bullet, and put on a card to get efi.
