What is the point? The point is that if you run a 6 gun then you really know nothing about how EFI works. I run alot more than a 50 hp tune and get 22mpg with no smoke. EFI Live is the same kind of program that the people at Banks use to write the programs that you are so happy with. It's all about how it's tuned. Idaho Rob, Pat McSwain, Mike Myers, Duramaxtuner.......All people that can tune a duramax better, faster, cleaner and safer than banks could ever think of. Just because you could never understand how it's done is no reason to put down the ideas behind it. Again, learn about what your talking about before you comment a second time. Punctuation would also help if you continue to post.

IMO, just like any other tune, just less of everything. my tow tune only has 210000Us pulse width and 22* of timing. stock has about 1700 pluse width and 18* of timing.
my tow tune is my favorite daily drive tune because it runs a little more egt's than stock, has 350rwhp, and gets great mileage for such a small tune.
my tow tune actually has less boost at 65 than my stock tune does, but maxes out at 26psi while stock is around 24psi. Also, you can lower your desired boost levels at cruising speed to help in MPG's. now, at 65, i cruise at 2psi instead of 6psi with the same tune.

Buck not sure what makes a tow tune a tow tune, depending on your Mods a tow tune could be 550 rwhp But if you tow alot you would like the turbo brake

your a tool bag..if you want no power get banks...look at robs run with his 9 sec truck BARLEY ANY SMOKE and it is pushing out more hp then your banks ever will so just shut up and go sponser banks some more...now i would like to know about tow tune
oh and i only got a 120 and 80 hp tune and i got efi why? because it is personal tune to my truck..not just somethign they slop together and think it works for every truck..and when i do upgrade trannys i will already have what i need!

Guys, just look at some of his statments, he has 4 posts and no truck in his sig. Oh yeah and he has a 6 Gun and is comparing to EFI, C'mon buddy get your shit together and do some real "research" then come talk to us, I bet my truck with a 500+ rwhp tune will smoke less and get better mileage than your turd with a 6 Gun!!!! Look around these forums a little, you will see lots of EFI tuned trucks doing unbelievable things!!
I am not bashing Banks or their stuff, it is all top notch stuff but his 6 six gun or any other off the shelf tuner that they sell are not comparable to a sysytem like EFI Live.
