You don't have to send it in. I would suggest you do some careful research before settling on what you want.

No you don't need EFILive. The best options are available without having to purchase it. This appeals to those who don't want to allocate hours and hours to this effort.

I currently have several dozen, and my bench tuners are modular, and don't require battery power.

Are your ECMs new or used? I got that link you sent me but it was listed in bulk of 10. I dont need to have a bunch of ECMs hanging out here.\
Already have bench harness that I built. Works of a rechargeable battery/ac and dc, how ever a buddy is "borrowing" it so he can build his own, only he is taking his sweet time

There is no such thing as a new 01-05 ECM. They get reconditioned by delphi.

I have singles also.

Could always wait for the Autocal to be released from EFI. It looks like it will be a cool little unit.

i know this is a bit of a derail but...i had to have my ecm replaced by the dealer a few months back and i noticed it says bosch on it and i dont think my old one did..

i knew the newer trucks are supposed to have bosch ecms but i though lb7-lly were different?

You ecm prices beat my guy except for LMM. We may have to work something out.
