thinking of letting one of the vendors here tune my LLY ECM. If i send it in, how long will my truck be down? Also, I dont currently have EFI. Does this matter? Sorry if thats a stupid ??

ya they will send you an ecm and then ull have to send urs back
but i would just buy efi itself so you can change tunes other then what they give you

Thats a god way to go about it to save on purchasing a V2.
If you are doing it though I would recommend DSP2 or DSP5 tunes as you wont be able to switch your tunes around without sending the ECM back an fourth.
A few tuners stock LLY ECMs and can just sell you one pre-tuned, or you can send yours in. I have no LLY ECMs right now, nor the ability to tune one on the bench as my harness is being borrowed STILL . Turn around time is quick as the tuner wants, then add shipping time. It takes less than 15 minutes to hook up, tune and re-pack to ship if the tune is built and ready or going to be built after saving your stock tune from the ECM.
