EFI Live ?

I'm trying to download a tune off my 97 s10 4.3l and I keep getting this warning, EFI has detected this pcm may not have a vailid calibration. EFI can still read the valid calibration or reflash a new calibration. etc etc. I've checked both high speed and alt key boxes with no luck. Keys in run pos. I choose vortec 98-00 pcm and pic looked like mine. What am I doing wrong?

What part of MN are you in I may be close too you? Have you tried different ways with the high speed off and alt key on and vice versa?

From Alex, up I-94 from Minneapolis/St. Paul bout 150 miles. Seen your from Wisconsin. These northern states are nice places to live, untill the white stuff comes.

Yes I did try all different combinations of boxes with no luck. Just went through this with my lmm a month back with no problems at all, cant believe I'm forgetting something? I'm starting to eye my SKS so I need to step back till tommorrow or I won't get nothing to work when its full of holes. Any other suggestions?

Not too far I work in Brooklyn Park and spend sometime in the Minneapolis St. Paul area. I might be able to give you a hand. I'll take a look at my EFI Live and mess around with it a little and see if I can't figure it out. If you wanted we could meet up like next weekend if you can't get it figured out.

think 96-97 is too early to be supported by EFI. I think 98 vortec is the first year

Your right, its not supported. Don't know how I over looked that. Sry WisconsinHick1 hope you didnt put to much time into it!
