Yeah.....they just started switching us over here in Michigan too.....seems odd though being it's only now started dipping into the 30's at night. For some reason running the bio blend doesn't seem to impact mileage quite as much as straight ULSD......that and in a pinch I spike the fuel with Amsoil cetane boost.

This is what I do. I don’t run any bio fuel in at all it has a tendency to freeze or crystallize in the lines it drop fuel rail pressure. Like now while the weather is still good I add a small amount of power service to get the truck use to burning and more when it gets colder. All year long I aid regular off the shelf motor oil or ASH LESS 2 STROKE oil in my fuel my duramax’s love it the injectors and valves run so much quieter. The only down side I see of this is the smoke but it’s not that bad.

No they don't like it, thats why you see smoke....

You dont own a cummins, your dmax doesnt need any cummins addative to run..

i've seen -65 too.. but its usually on a really clear night with a bit of a windchill, Im talkin -40 for weeks at a time, ambient temps. Shocks in your truck dont work, tires feel like rocks, steam everywhere, clothing freezes, nose is constantly itchy from the hairs inside freezing together, Im sure you know what im talkin about.

Im glad I have a diesel im just gonna leave it run when it gets like that..

I'm seeing +65 at night sometimes even worse...your arms itch cause you changed into a long sleeve, tire pressure light comes on cause you tires are cold, and it even takes an extra .5 seconds for the glow plug to heat...it's a rough life but soomebody has to live it
