"race tranny safe"?

In efi, you can modify, timing, fuel and boost for MPG's. Your not going to get 30mpg, but it's nothing special.

35's arent the best for MPG's either..

A race tune will not be safe for a stock transmission. A tow tune/ daily driver will suit your needs and will play safe on a stock alli.

With your mud terrains, you wont be getting high teens, 16 mpg isnt bad for your setup and stock gearing.

Yes, but good luck making it "smoother". Bully Dog tuners are very good IMO. Also, I have seen improved MPG with race tunes more than once...

What bully dog do you have??? they dont make a race tune imo. The only place you will be racing with bully dog is to the shop to get your tranny re built

I don't have Bully Dog. But the ones I have seen run well and trouble free. Why do you say that they suck? Are they unreliable? I know it is FAR from the best but please explain.

And what should brut3forc3 smooth out in his BD tune to protect the tranny?

My bully dog was pushing high egts and shifted like crap. But the fuel mileage is very good. If I could get 17 I wouldn't be complain.

Does anyone have one I can mess around with? Iv been waiting almost 2 weeks for my tunes from my tuner and I really need my mileage back
