Guys I'm completely new here, first post. I'm going to buy EFI and want to create my own tunes that way in the future I don't have to continue to pay someone for new tunes when I add new mods. The question is, where the heck to start. I've downloaded the software, but don't have the actual V2 yet. I want to be ahead of the curve when I get the hardware.
Back on track, where is a good place to start with EFI tuning?
Thanks for the welcome. I'm all about doing things myself, I guess it's that weird satisfaction thing. Is there somewhere/someone in particular I should look at to get a first tune?
start by logging.
Most people kill off the post injections.
raising fuel pressure where you cruise helps mpg's.
I like to start by pushing the timing to btdc, factory is atdc.
You will notice a degree or two rarely makes a difference in economy.
