There's a guy on Louisiana Sportsman in the classifieds that does EFI tuning, think he's somewhere around Alexandria. I don't know anything about him, just see his ads every now and then. I've got EFI on my truck and have a V2 here in Monroe. Rob built my tunes and a buddy loaded em onto my truck. I'm still stupid to the whole thing or I'd offer to help you. At this point it would be like the blind leading the blind LOL. Watcha trying to do?

Thanks I looked it up and that guy is in walker. Your closer to me then he is. I'm wanting a rob tune but don't want to buy the program. I want an economy tune and a tow tune.

Look into getting a pre-tuned ECM if you don't wanna buy a V2

So how many tunes did you get from Rob? Whats your mpg? I may end up getting an ecm from Rob but would like to do like you did and find someone with efi and have Rob send it that way.

I bought the whole thing (V2 flashscan and DSP5), right at a grand, I'm just to damn dumb to use it. A buddy installed it all and I've never even messed with any of it. I've got 5 selectable on the fly tunes.

Did you run any of the can tuners before efi? Edge, PPE etc. If you did what did you think about them? Your mpg sounds pretty good with those 35in tall tires. Thats pretty impressive.

hey man, just gonna chime in. i just got my ecm done on my truck form rob. he personally said on the lmm's it's better to send the stock ecm to him rather than switch them out. if you are not gonna buy the V2 and play with it like myself. i would just get rob to do it. for two tunes it will be cheap, i got five and swirth for 300$. as for canned tuners, i was running the edge eace and had no complaints. great tuner and diagnostics, but as you will learn nothing beats a custom tune. imo Plus rob is one of the best and in all a good guy. either way won't be dissapointed. where are you located i'm from the northsore i got a buddy that way that could upload a tune setup for you.

I'm running the PPE, I've been using level 2 but went down to level 1 a couple days ago and my MPG went up to 16 -17 in and around post and almost 21 on the highway. With level 2 I was getting 12-13 local and 17-18 highway. The fuel we get here on FT Polk isn't that great, any of you guys in central La find a good fuel station pass it along.
