I'm having my truck detailed tonight and having everything debadged except for duramax emblem. And having the chrome pieces taken off the doors what do yal think

I'm actually thinking of doing the chrome molding tonight!! Go for it man I think it makes the truck look better!!

If you are going to keep the front chrome and keep the wheels with the machined parts I think the side molding looks good on there. IMO the GMC side molding looks good while still being somewhat functional.

i debadged mine a few months back, but i kept the chrome door handles because i have chrome rims and a chrome running board.

are you going to paint match your door handles to the rest of the truck?

Had my truck repainted a few months ago and had them keep the chrome off. I like the look a lot better.

Moldings look better than door dings.
My 07 F350 did not have moldings and was door dinged bad within a month of buying the truck brand new. I had the ding fixed and ordered factory moldings to put on the truck. It depends on where and how you drive your truck and where you can park it.

I'm gonna have the bumpers and grill done also there gonna wrap it in black to match everything. My chrome door stuff had bubbles all in it anyway
