My factory mirrors (extexdo towing mirrors) were pretty tight when new. Now the mirrors jiggle with the engine like they are loose. How can I tighten them up if I can. Do I just need new ones? It drives me crazy to be sitting at a stop light and have the mirrors wiggling so its hard to see anything behind you.
is it the whole mirror or just the glass itself if it is the whole mirror u can tighten them up by pulling off that little plastic triangle piece on ur door and there should b 3 10mm bolts i think

Its the glass inside the mirror head not the whole head itself.
There is a screw on the bottom that will release the glass, so it can come out and be snugged up. Mine does the same thing , but my screw does not seem to want to come out, and I do not want to break it, so for now I will watch it shake..

So all need to do is look on the underside and there is a set screw to undo?

I actually got side tracked and never made it out to look. I am leaving in a few to go to the race track so I will be taking a look there at them. I will let you know.
