Getting Windows Tinted Tomorrow, Need Opinion - Page 2

I have 20% on the front and the back are 18% from the factory. Put two PM lights under the bumper to see at night along with rolling the windows down. Looks good tho.

it states it right on the windows that they are 17% +or- like3%

I too have 20% and backing a trailer at night is tough, I usually have to put the windows down to see clear enough to park the trailer.

You guys with tinted windows should get retro solutions LED reverse light bulbs. It's almost like having headlights in the rear.
I'm on the fence about tinting my front windows. I think it looks awesome..... But I don't really want to attract the law.

I cant stand having no tint. As soon as i bought my truck I had 15 on the back window and 20 on the other 4 front windshield is 35 yes i know it is illegal but it was cheaper than buying sunglasses lol but at night its a little bit of challenge backing up but im used to alway rolling down the windows. I can't stand driving the gfs car and people can see what im doing all the time . I will tint every vehicle i own especially when i paid 225 to go all the way around including windshield from a good friend but its all opinion based and for all you saying not to do windshield because its illegal. well so is talking or texting on your phone and if you have tinted windows the cops see if you are on your phone! just my $.02

I tinted mine when I got it aswell. 20% on the fronts, 5% on the back.and 50% on the windshield. Backing is a breeze. I like my privacy

I just had the detail shop match my front to my factory rear... nice and uniform. Looks good in my opinion.

I put what they called 18% because the law states 20% +/- 2%. I then found that backing up the trailer at night in -20 below with the windows down suck. So I got retro LED back up lights. They work really well.

20% on the front's will match the rear almost perfect. Add a 5% strip across the top of the windshield as well.
