| if you go with the rds 60 gal/toolbox setup put some beefier aluminum mounting tabs on it while its new. Mine didnt make it very long now they're all broken off and i gotta purge the tank with inert gas so it doesnt go boom when i get off my ass and tig some new tabs on. can't add anything on pump or plumbing since i just have a transfer pump setup on mine.

| I have a rds 60 gallon/tool box tank with a GPI transfer pump and it fits under my tri-fold cover. If you use a fill rite pump you can't close the cover cause the discharge is on the top of the pump as where GPI discharges on the side

| Seebea has it right. I have toolbox with 50 gallon tank. Gravity fed. After fill up I wait till OEM tank is real low and turn valve and thats it. No pump works perfect. RDS tank through northern tool No regrets! Tool box and tank fit below rails, I have a trifold top fits over the top. |

| I know the trend seems to be in-bed tanks...but with the 6'6" box, I went with a transfer flow 56 gallon replacement tank....it doesn't interfere with anything around the frame/exhaust, and gives me my whole bed to haul stuff in....

| I am looking at getting a small aux tank that will fit under my RKI toolbox. I only need about 20-25 gallons. I was going to wire in pump and handle so that I can either put it in my truck when I am getting low or use it for other equipment. Of course, I will wire in a shut off switch in the cab so no one will steal my diesel, though. ![]() Anyone know of a small aux tank like that?

| We also bought our tank and gravity flow pump from Northern. My dad also wanted one, so ordered both at the same time and split the shipping cost(same cost to ship 2 for 1!) We love ours. Pull a fifth wheel and we bypass alot of the traffic at the filling stations. Best investment we ever made! |

| I like TransferFlow tanks. They make OEM replacement tanks and in-bed tanks. I have both and am very happy.

| the person i work for uses the transfer flow tanks in 4 of his trucks. they are the 50 gallon tanks and work great. it gives a digital read out of the fuel gallons in each tank and automatically transfers fuel from the aux. tank to the main tank.
