Auxiliary Tanks

Friend of mine wants an auxiliary tank for his duramax. Preferably one that is a tool box and tank. Also said he would like to have one that the pump is hidden. Anyone have any thoughts on the best brand?

Do they last good and have a decent rating on them? I have no clue on them but just curious

I think all tanks that are sold as fuel tanks have to be certifiead. I have never heard anything bad, have a few buddies using them. I like the 45 ga that slides under toolbox, could hide pump anywhere.

Is there any good additives to put in the tank to make the diesel last longer

Mine is a low profile toolbox wth 60 gallon tank. I plumbed it straight to the fuel filler line with a quarter turn valve. No pump, gravity fed. Line-xed that puppy along with my bed and I absolutely love it. Between it and my regular tank I drove to Southern Cali from middle of Missouri. Filled up here and Alburquerqueuqueudrfe, New Mexico. That was it. Highly recommend it.
