Yep, that's the same thing I'm talking about. Are you trying to make your low beams, fog lights or both stay on with your high beams? Just make sure you have the painted line on the diode towards the high beam relay.

You will need two diodes. One to go from the high beam relay to the fog light relay, and one to go from the high beam relay to the low beam relay. That will let you turn the fogs on and off with the low beams, but they will come on automatically with the high beams and the lows will say on. If you want the fogs to come on automatically with the low beams and stay on with the high beams, you need to tie the fog light relay to the low beam relay and tie the low beam relay to the high beam relay.

yes it would if you got caught, but you're not going to have the brights on when you have oncoming traffic right?

I have flashed people that flash me....sometimes they are real stubborn and i just leave them on. Of course we dont have near the people up here in alaska and the winters are really dark for a long time.

I saw something on Ebay that did exactly what you are talking about. Try searching on there. I was searching for a replacement fog light and saw it then. So do a search for silverado fog light kit and see what comes up. It had all the wiring beefed up so as not to burn out anything.
Here is the link.
