Smoked out headlights

ive been looking for smoked or blacked out headed light for my NBS GMC. i was wondering if anyone knew where to find any

probly ebay, or u could go to discount auto and pick up some vht night shades and black them out urself!

what is vht night shades? is that the paint they use? i heard u could buy that and do it urself

VHT nightshade is garbage... DO NOT USE IT.... only a handful of guys I know had any luck with it... but it will wear off and look like crap after a short amount of time even with good prep work....

I took mine to a body shop and had my taillights blacked out and my head lights smoked and they did an awesome job... and not that expensive

I used VHT on my taillights, looks pretty good, but could look better, I'm cheap. Actually i got a citation a week ago for having "Improper Equipment" the cop felt like he could not see my reflectors well enough. Oh well.

i was looking at covers. about 70 bucks for a pair from avs. are covers any good?

Covers will last, but just like anything, its a cheap route to go.... I am sorry but I am not cheap... I dont try to save a couple bucks here and there by going at something halfassed (no offense to anyone)... saving money is good, but Id rather pay to have it done right to do it once and not have to redo something later... having a body shop paint them isnt too expensive... it'll cost less to black out your taillights and 3rd brake light than it would to buy a set of Recons... for sure...

I use covers on my 06. I personally wouldnt spray tint the front headlights. IMO if you can find covers they work fine!

why wouldnt you Jason? you see mine? and my headlights are still far brighter than most people... but I have HID lights in there too
