Newbie here! I have got a lot of good information on this site. I've got the same EXACT problem tclarkbass described in post #8 with his truck. It's a bone stock '03 LB7 with 138,000. Bought it in '05 with 60,000 and don't think the injectors were ever replaced before. It's in the shop right now for the smoking at idle problem. The dealer told me it can't be covered under the 7 year 200k warranty cause the test showed the injectors were good! He said that replacing the injectors would stop the smoking. Quoted me $4200! Someone on here said it wasn't that hard of a job but I don't know if I will need a bunch of special tools or what. Any suggestions?
