Coming out of a hunting spot saw a a nice buck stomped on it to get up to where it went into the woods at. Went into the corner too fast it was icy and off the road into a 9" diameter tree at about 35-40mph. I must have been doing about 50mph when I hit the brakes finally cause there was 30+ feet of skid marks in the gravel. Whoops

It went back and forth on the total or not totaled. It was long and drawn out. When I called the insurance and described the damage they were like oh its a 90% chance that it will be totaled. It took them 3week to come get the truck. They towed it to there holding area thinking it would be totaled. It took another 2 weeks for their adjuster got get out there. He went out wrote an estimate for just over $9k NOT totaled. I then had them tow it to a body shop it took another 2-3weeks to get it in the body shop and for the parts to come then another week for them to finish. It was right around 2 months with out my truck the final bill that the body shop submitted to the insurance was over $12,600 it should have been totaled.
