Ticking noise on lock to lock steering...

Hello gents!

I've been noticing this noise more and more lately. Especially in parking lots or other areas where tight maneuvering is necessary. The ticking noise is quite sharp, not a thud. I think it happens on both turns.

My truck has about 38K miles.

Any suggestions?

Alot of times the shaft will make noise under the hood before the gear box. Can you tell where its comming from? Id open the hood and have someone sit in the truck to turn the wheel and see if you hear the noise. Alot of times some pb blaster or wd40 will fix it up!
