there use to be a myth about that but i have never ever seen anything to prove that it is true..we use to have a 2005 Chevy EC LB DRW 3500HD with the Duramax and we had quite a few different sizes on that truck and never had any problems with shift points although to avoid speeding tickets you may want to reprogram for the larger tires since your speedo will be off!

So, What your saying is that if I haul over 10,000 lbs I should stick with the 215's? I have the 235's, will the smaller tire get any better fuel mileage? Also, I WILL be hauling a 15,000 lb backhoe a couple time a year, Should I go back to the 215's?

Thanks
