Red face help! want to change tire size!

I have 01 dually/allison trans, pull 18' 3horse alum trailer. Tired of the way my truck looks with the dinky factory size tires! Not to mention the poor mileage out of them! What size tires can i go to? Will I have to reprogram anything? Not lookin' to go muddin' or anything, just lookin to fill some of the space in the wheel wells and get better performance out of a big investment!

LT235-85R16 work on 90% of GM Duallys..if you haul realy heavy the tires do touch a lil on the duals but other then that they work great..

What about programming? Does anything need to change there? (I usually pull less than 10,000#) Just like the dually for the stabillity hauling a live load, never know when somebody in there's going to get stupid!

I have run several brands in 235 85 16 and havent had any issues with touching. just air up to specs when hauling heavy and you should be good!

do the LT235-85R16s then and you wont have a lick of trouble if your only towing 10,000LBS and less..if you want to recalibrate the speedo you'll either need a programmer or then Superchips TirePaq..

Tryeboyz, what about reprogrmin' allison? I was told it would throw off shift pattern. Is that true?

I really appreicate the help! Nobody wants to talk straight 'cause I'm female! No matter I grew up drivin' a dually or in my Dad's Diamond Reo shop!
