HELP! Driver Side Door Won't Open

We got some snow last night that sat on the truck over night. I got in this morning and no problems. I drove 30 minutes or so in to work and when I got to the parking lot, the drivers side door wouldn't open. I tried manually unlocking the door, using the electric unlock switch, using the key and the remote but the door still won't open. Maybe some snow melted and got down in the door and froze up or something? Any ideas on how to get the door open and what the problem might be? I am hoping that when the truck thaws it will open at least so I can pull a panel..

if ice/snow had the door welded shut, that's a pretty big door, with a lot of jamb area, so I'm not really that surprised?

Only thing i can say to do is to lube up the door seal and the jam so ice/snow cant stick to it or freeze the seal to the jam.

That's funny! I did what anyone would do and called 911! Well, i didn't think the entire door was sticking but maybe there is something to that. If it was the jamb I would have thought the door would move a little even if iced to the rubber seal. It really felt like the door wasn't really unlocked at all, thinking water got down inside there and iced the locking mechanism or something on that end.

oh I got cha now..

like the locking mechanism was frozen (not literally) enough so it wasn't unlocking the door itself.. Not the door was frozen to the truck and wouldn't open...

Exactly. Maybe seizing due to the cold though I haven't seen this in just plain cold weather, or maybe a little water did get in there. I did have the window down an inch or so on the drive. I might end up pulling the door panel off and taking a look anyhow and lube stuff up. The window is a little slow so it's been on my list to do.
