BLACK BOWTIE it completely changed the look i love it
and do not use a heat gun for thr badges i used my gfs hairdryer it gets plenty hot, but not hot enough to burn. than u just heat up the access glue and wipe off with a rag be pacient it works. than wax it up

i though i was a little less prepared with the hair dryer but it was perfect
and the way i did my bowtie on my 05 was take out the plastic sheild under the hood that goes around the hood latch its 8 plastic pop rivets be easy on them and the the bowtie is held in by two 10mm nuts they thread onto the plastic and than wipe her down spray her up and put it all back together
glad i can help

To get the badges off get a couple feet of stout fish line and get it behind and work it back and forth to cut it off.then i used 3m adhesive remover to get the crap off.:-)

don't mean to derail the thread, but I wanna debadge my truck too, I'm just concerned about the paint being faded everywhere besides where the badges were, since my truck is old and not garaged... anyone have any insight on that?

You should be good man. I have an 02 and I de-badged it a couple of years back and it was fine. Just give it a wash and a wax and you will be good. I can post some pics of my 02 de-badged if you want.
