well my opinons would be get rid of the chrome. cause i dislike chrome lol. but if you like the chrome i say keep it where it is!

I have always really wanted one of the Black and red southern comfort edition trucks.
Black on the top fading to red on the bottom. I think they look so sharp.
Here one I found on google. Would look wicked on a classic.

Well I wouldnt get rid of all the chrome. I love the white and i cant stand black grille or wheels especially on white truck! jmho Everyone has own opinion though. I think your headed in the right direction by losing those flares. I think a smooth bumper cover would look great like an SS maybe.

i got mine painted pearl with a hint of yellow in it, you can only see the yellow in certain light it really turned out nice. when i get home in a few days i will try and post some pics.
