Chevy tail lights on Gmc

*edit to include install steps




what the title says, will it work? want chevy taillights on my 06 gmc lbz. does anyone know if this will work? have searched but can't find nothin

notice the long part of the twist part on the socket is too long for the opening. measure when its flush to the part with the "lip" I then grabbed a file and filed out to elongate it

notice the taillight on the right doesnt have the "black trim" around the light, this is from an 03. the driver side is from an 07. So now I gotta order a new light. not bad since now I dont need to buy the harnesses. Plus I can sell the other one. or keep for spare

but this is the light style with the black trim im goin for

ppe air box mod
4" mbrp turbo back w/muffler
transgo jr.
pcv reroute
egr block
banks boost tube
fass platinum 150
cog arms w/ moogs, rare parts tie rods, braces and Bil's
autometer gauges

yes it will I took mine out of my 04 gmc and put them in my dads 06 chevy

The Chevy tail lights look some much better than the GMC tail lights. I think I'm going to get a set.
