mirrors

Has anyone ever changed there mirrors on the 2004 2500HD, I really hate my mirrors and wonder if there are better ones out there that will retrofit on with ease. Thanks

I bought the telescoping mirrors from a guy on ebay because he didn't like them. His loss my gain. Before I had the nice folding regular morrors and wanted the telescoping ones but I did not want to pay $700 for them. I installed them with no problem but I did have to go to the stealership to get the computer flashed for these mirrors so they would function properly. Cost me $80 bucks for about ten min. worth of work.

mirros

I like the telescope feature but it's the tall, (up , down) length that I just cant see what's going on by my side, had to put on a pair of close range mirrors just to see close up vehicles. The width seems to be fine also.
Thanks

All the mirrors for the 00-07 trucks are interchangeable. Some of the functions like a heated mirror or turn signals might not work in some! I know at the dealer they might be expensive to buy buy check out ebay and forum for sale sections. You migth be able to get a deal.
