In the DFW area you can get a Clifford alarm with the remote start for 289 installed. Two way remote with up to a mile range.

I would seriously question the quality of the work performed for that price. That's too cheap, the least expensive Clifford 2 way with 1 mile range is 170.00 at cost not retail the module required to install a remote start into one of these trucks is either a Dball or flcan both have a dealer cost of about 50.00. That leaves 70.00for labor... And 70.00isn't enough. I have 21 years of install experience and am as fast as anyone it takes me about 2 hours to properly install a remote start into one of these trucks I would be very cautious about any installer who is willing to work for 25.00 per hour and make 0 profit on the product. Might just be a great deal but chances are they are cutting corners in the install.

Any one know of a good place for remote starts in MN?

It was a class act all the way as far as I could tell. I watched them and it took about 1 1/2 hrs and they were done. They didnt BS at all and just knocked it out.
