multi function switch bad?

Hello again, trying to figure something else out, When i apply my foot to the brake pedal the left turn signal stays solid, when im using the left turn signal and braking it works fine. Also my cruise control is going in and out, it just turns off when I have it on, and will either come back on after a few minutes or after I restart my truck, thinking its the mfs, but wanted to get some insight, before I go buy a 150$ switch, and its not that. 03chevy2500ccss

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but what ended up fixing your issue? I'm having very similar problems with the cruise and blinkers.

2002 RCLB chevy LB7, twin turbos, s475 over modded stocker(big head wastegate), ProFab uppipes, 5" exhaust to 7" Flo Pro black chrome stack, modded cp3 (FPR), EFILive by Idaho Rob, airdog II 165, Built trans (ML converter and Alto clutches), Stock injectors and head studs ... Someday I'll get some ARP studs and better injectors all at once. 4.5" BDS Suspension lift, 315/70/R17 General Grabber AT2s, 17" XD black Addict wheels.

could be a bad ground in a brake light bulb, probably the left one. could also be the brake switch is not working properly, but my money is on the ground. if the car things the brake circuit activated then it will kill cruise control. since the brakes and turns on the rear are in the same bulb sharing a ground, if the ground pin fails it will use the other side of the bulb circuit as a ground causing both circuits to activate.
