2003 lb7 fuel guage doesn't work!
Hey guys, I'm new here so this may have already been discussed but anyways, I just bought a 2003 lb7 Chevy duramax and the fuel gauge stays on empty and does not ever move or bounce and the light is always on, but it never says "fuel level low" or anything. I've been doing some research and I'm wondering if my "stepper," sending unit, or cluster is bad or if it's something else. And as far as the "fuel level low" thing, could previous owner have unhooked a wire or something or will that be fixed once the problem is located and fixed? Thanks in advance.
Also all my other gauges work perfect and I'm not showing any codes or lights on dash. No chip (as far as I know) doesn't act like it has one.
