HELP with airdog 150 installation

instructions arnt so good, looks like instructions are for a newer model, not LB7. so were do you tap in the hot wire in the fuse boa on a LB7? and using this airdog, do i do away with the factory line comming of the sending unit? can anyone help me figure out were to run the gas lines? do i just use the factory line running to the engine? NEED HELP!! VERY CONFUSED!!

i tapped into the sunroof as it isnt used. It just needs to be a keyed ignition source

as for the fuel lines if you install the draw straw you will remove that line from the tank. You will run a line from your draw straw to the air dog. Then your return line will run from the air dog to the filler neck.

To feed the engine you will run a line to the 1/2" hose in between the fuel tank and fuel cooler. You will need a fuel line disconnect tool.

its not bad, its just the instructions arnt the best IMO, the wiring in the instructions is not ment for a LB7. gets confusing. the tank is way easier then i thought to drop, its just finding a place to put the hot wire. if you dont have a sun roof, that fuse port might work, and the gas lines will get confusing cuz it doesnt tell you if you do away with the the old sending unit lines or not. but i think i got it figured out now. its not that bad.

you need to have both fuses in it. the one fuse closest to let say the fuse block when plugged in is the fuse for the fuse you are replacing. The one towards the top of the plug is for the air dog relay.

I love using these types of fuse taps but they are over 20 bucks a pop.

my sunroof was only keyed hot. If yours isnt then test around until you find one that is keyed hot and will always be on when the key is on. Then just plug it in and forget it.

Yes the air dog instructions suck.

You will also have tons of extra wires, I just zip tied them in a bundle and stuck them int he little pocket on top of the fender well under the driveside hood hinge.

for a beginner with minimal mechanical knowledge its a saturday job. for a pro whos done them with alot of determination its about a 2 hour job.

You will also learn quickly if you have weak batteries, i did. barely had enough juice to crank my motor.

As for the other two wires that feed constant power I attached the hot to the alternator and the ground to the intake manifold to the bolt that holds the MAP sensor on.

i secured my relay to the driverside rear engine ground that connects to the firewall.

sounds good, i think i should be able to finish her up today thanks to you. i started working on her 11 yesterday and stopped at 5 and all i got done was get the airdog system hung on the frame rail got the tank out and draw straw in, and got the harness ran, me and my buddy were stumped on where to wire the harness in and how to to run the fuel lines.
