EGT Alarm

I was just wondering if there was anykind of alarm or light that i could buy for my egts? i was driving the other day with some friends doing around 110mph and i looked up at my egts and they were around 1400 so i instantly let off the gas. i have my gauges mounted in my over head councel and there kinda hard to see while driving. so is there anything that i can hook up to my egt gauge?

I have the Insight monitor and you can set it to alarm. But not exactly an economical solution being that you already have gauges.

1400 isnt that bad imo, just dont keep it that high for a long time. some of the monitors like others have stated have alarms. i dont know of any other way to get the alarm. if you cant motor you gauges in the overhead why not move them to the pillar or some other place that you can see them.
