are these problems connected?

So the other day I noticed when I was going to leave for work my dome lights did not come on when I opened the door, the lights in the door turned on, dash lights worked. Tried the dimmer switch did not turn them on, I cycled the dome override nothing, but they will turn on if i push the map light buttons.. That night on my way to go home I unlocked with my key fob and my reverse lights did not flash, they don't come on at all. The reverse lights are the retro solutions crees, the dome lights are led from ebay. Is there a fuse that connects them? I would have looked but the weather has been terrible and I don't have a garage.

Not sure but I'd check for a loose wire at the overhead console.
Sounds like "door open" powee isn't getting up there.

If the lights in the door hadn't come on, I would've said bad door latch switch. Very common failure.

Yep.. mine does that occasionally.. other symptom.. radio doesn't turn off when the door opened. I've made it "better" short term by lubricating the latch assemblies.
