The PPE boost valve will need to be on the wastegate side(Passenger side) and you'll want to put the T fitting on the Turbo side(Driver side). Mine doesnt show a reading idling either, its normal and it wont need power to run, just make sure there are no kinks in the line and use the rubber grommets where it could possibly get cut. The super diesel manifold is an easy route also if you have the extra $100 dollars but on the LB7 it mounts after the intercooler so it will give a lower reading than what your boost off the turbo actually is.

Its just torsion keys up front and a small 1" block in the rear, uses the factory shocks, pretty simple. It was already on the truck when I bought it. I really like the way it sits. Once I get a camera I'll take a pic

To answer your questions in the other thread, your ride will be a little stiffer depending on how high you crank the bars. A block will work just fine if its only 1". You will need to do some trimming with a sawsall or trimmers but the job done with a sawsall will look alot better. My wheels are 17 by 10 and Im not too sure but if I remember right the offset is 9"

A lower but more accurate reading as this is the actual intake manifold pressure. Rememeber you loose some psi through the intercooler.

Yeah it shows the actual manifold pressure but if you're running the stock turbo and getting towards the 35 psi mark at the turbo then you'll want to keep an accurate measure by mounting before the intercooler. Also the higher the elevation the lower your max boost should be when determining what is safe for the turbo, the main reason for a boost guage with a stock turbo would be to save the turbo.

Thats why I like the water/meth injection setup. It adds boost and cooler air without the turbo having to rev as high.

Installed the boost valve and notice a big difference. It hits the old boost max of about 18 and then buries it! I noticed my turbo sounds a bit different when I let off of the fuel as it is coming back to idle. I havent been able to hear from outside the truck yet.
