Aight just got my dmax and it has a Pioneer head unit. An older one. I would say about 3 or 4 years old. Well I just noticed that the rear door speakers dont put out any sound. Is there something weird that has to be done with the bose system to get sound out of the rear speakers with the aftermarket unit? Thanx for the help.

Not wanting to sound like a smartass, but did you make sure the balance/fade is not set to just the front speakers? I put it right past me one time, and I adjusted all the sound and someone had turned the fade to the front of the truck, therefor making no sound come out of the rear. Could be as simple as that, but I'm sure you've already messed with the fade/balance...

Dude I know where you are comming from. Its always the simplist of things that get ya but this time I did actually check that. I appreciate it though. I guess I will have to go through and check of the wiring job the previous owner did and chase wires

Im not sure how that would work. I know there is a amp bose installs in your truck that you supposidly have to bypass if you run a aftermarket head unit. So maybe the previous ower ran new wires to the front and not the rear
Also, if you have a CC there migth be a rear control and that migth screw with your power.
FYI... I added subs and left the stock head unit in for that reason
