I agree with chris and you really cant use the T fitting. I drilled and taped mine into cast boost tube going from the intercooler to the air intake heater next to the alternator. The tubes on top of the motor are easy but there so thin Id be afraid of them blowing out eventually
i did as well tow master

mine is on the tube on top of the motor right off the turbo so i know what its putting out. the motor sees around 2-3lb less then what my gauge says.
im not worried about it blowing out then again i drilled the hole and welded a fitting on cus im cool like that!

You just dont see what the motor is seeing you see what the turbo is putting out...
I thought that's what the boost meter was for...to see what the turbo is putting out...if i'm wrong please correct me (be nice about it though!!! lol )

There is a pressure drop between the compressor and the intake due to the restriction caused by the intercooler and piping. You may see 36 psi at the compressor outlet, and 30 psi at the intake. 36 psi would be over working the charger. You dont even wanna know what drive pressures are at that psi.

plus just to add once you get over 35psi the air coming from the turbo gets so hot you actually loose efficiency...for the short amount of time your turbo is still intact
