Learned something today. It helps to know your equipment when you call Crutchfield. They know your equipment. The website was showing nothing compatible with my truck. The rep told me I was putting the wrong stereo system, Bose is 7 speaker.

Yeah, my son bought one and hates it. He doesn't even listen to the Ipod in his truck anymore because that thing is so bad. Another guy I work with just bought one and he keeps carrying on how great it is, I told him all I ever heard is that they "suck!"

where did you mount this? and does it take away being able to play cds?
I can still play cd's in my factory radio (single disc only) and I mounted it under the front of my console (up near the throttle pedal hiding under the panel on the right) and ran the Ipod cable up the back and drilled a hole through the compartment w/ the little door on it. I have bucket seats obviously. No wires show and the thing works flawlessly! I can take pics of the install if you'd like, just let me know
