just ordered a cb radio but got a ?????

I am not trieng to chose an antenna.I am thinking of getting the firestik.Does anyone have any info on these?or recomend a better one?Also,I found a bracket for the antenna that goes in the stake holes on the bed rails.What do you guys think?

Do not get the fire stick....i have had one and they got terrible reception. I use to be huge in dealing with cb's vhf's and uhf's. Hang on a min ill tell you what to get....

I had a maxrad.. i think it was about 16 inches. I mounted it with a L bracket to the inside of my quarter panel under the hood on the drivers side. The best reception i ever had. My vhf would pick up about 15-20 miles with that antenna.

I got a wilson trucker antenna Id sell you. i think I even have an extra stainless antenna top for it too. Never been used. I had one like it on my old truck and worked very well. I bought this one for my land rover an never mounted it..
