Watchdog on LMM

I am wondering which of the many possible sensors listed by Bully Dog actually feed and display data from the LMM to the Watchdog.

They list a bunch, but say that depending on the vehicle they may or may not be displayed.

Has anyone here installed one on an LMM and can you tell me which ones work?

TIA,

Mickey

Nobody has purchased one of these for their LMM?

Can any of the proprietors who sell the Bully Dog line answer this question?

Looking to buy, but don't want to find out it only displays a couple of items from the long list of possible parameters.

from my own experiances with this forum i think you will hear that there are better tuner options for the LMM out there.(PPE,Edge or EFI Live) But surely one of the local vendors will chime in with an answer you are looking for

I would look at the Quadzilla Scout. I've read good things about them and talked to people that really like them.

I've read alot of negative comments about the watchdog on other forums. There we on dodges but the parameters they monitor are the same.
Most of the people that have them were sending them back.

I am looking at getting a Scout myself.

just my 0.02 cents from what i've read.

Thanks, I'll check it out as well. My real reason for looking at an electronic monitoring system is the hope to avoid having to install sensors or tie into the various engine components.

These monitors say they use the existing vehicle sensors.

It looks like the Scout requires a sensor install for EGT.

Sorry if I seem uninformed (I am really) but what things can be measured without installing additional probes and what are the important things to monitor that the truck gauges won't tell you.

From what I can gather these things are:
1)Turbo Boost Pressure
2)Pyrometer (EGT)

It seems the cost of buying and installing these two physical gauges is similar to the cost of an electonic unit which can measure many more parameters.

Are the two above the only imporant additional things for towing?

Truck already has coolant temp, oil pressure, trans temp.

Another one I forgot to mention is the Aeroforce gauge.
Aeroforce Technology Inc | Welcome
They look like very good gauges as well. They can monitor even more parameters.

Theres a list of parameters that Killerbee(thanks for letting all know) posted
Pods and Gauges help pls!

As for the Scout; from my understanding, theres the EGT probe that you hook up and then 2 or 3 others(if i remember correctly) that you hook up to your wiring harness.

The biggest one that you want to monitor if your going to do any pulling I think is the EGT, there maybe others to that are just as important.

As for your other questions, I'm not as knowledgeable so others will have to chime in.

hope this helps you out in some way,
