Which remote start?

Hey guys, which remote start system is best for our D-max's? I know on previous threads people talk about getting one that senses the glow plug going out and not the time delay but I cant seem to find one with that feature? Or maybe im not looking in the right place. I would like some good distance, dont need the alarm and dont need it to start every hour. Any suggestions?

autostart works well from what ive heard...i have a prestige and like it..

just be sure to check to see if they tap the obd-II port during installation..if so they you need to unhook it before you tune or else you'll be in a world of problems

go to directed.com...any one of those brands work good. DEI owns them all and they are the ones that do the factory remotes for our vechicles. I have a clifford and have had astrostart...both pretty good.

Prestige (Audiovox) works really well with diesels, its what I use when installing remote starters for my custumers (12 volt technition for 11 yrs now). It allows you to tap right on to the glow plug light or just program for a 10-15-or 20 second delay (for you slow ass ford guys ) Great range, great price, works perfectly when installed CORRECTLY! your obd wire (purple wire) will be tapped into if your adding keyless entry on the remote stater keytag as well, otherwise it wont be needed.

thats what i have...that purple wire turned into one hell of a problem but all figured out now..

wish my installer knew how to tap into the glow plug light...mine has a 30 sec delay and its annoying
