I use the microsoft streets and trips with gps sensor. I have a laptop stand in my truck, it is nice having a 17inch widescreen gps screen
Never heard of or saw that....I have 4 laptops and one of them would love to incorporate it's way into my truck. Thanx for the tip....I'm going go do some research.

I bought my program at best buy, with the gps sensor it cost just a little over $100.00. My laptop stand is the expensive part.

I have a nuvi I dont know what number it is but I like it. I am stubborn and would rather read a map, and I am pretty sure it hates me because I never listen but I like the ETA.
I would really like to find one that I can use in both my boat and my truck, but it seems as if no one makes that. The ones that have lake and river charts dont work on the land based gps units for a vehicle and vice versa. Does anyone know of one that will do what I want.

I found the User Interface much clearer and the functionality to be more intuitive. I never had both side by side for long enough to know which one was more acurate, but my Tom Tom has never steered me the wrong way with over 10,000 kms of use.
Either way, they sure are fun, and at these prices they are a disposable item in my opinion. You won't regret buying either one.

Love this truck....HATE the fuel economy yea yea, I know it's a truck, and YES I want the same mpg as a Civic
I run the Gm factory touchscreen navigation system. Its kinda crappy but it works. Kinda more for the custom look and feel and something to set the truck apart.
I also love the fact that it looks stock and the Luxury Bose is really nice.
