I've got a Garmin Nuvi 200 wide screen. Have used it many times and it has not failed me yet. It even has phine numbers for points of interest(restaurants, gas stations). Bought it on sale before Thanksgiving, I think we gave a little less than $200 for it.

Yeah, i was torn between the 200w and the 260 that i got for him. It seems to be a very nice unit though. I am mainly just wanting to see if i want to get the same one for me or try something different. I am glad to hear you are happy with you garmin 200w that makes me feel better about going with Garmin instead of one of the others.

I have Garmin Nuvi 200 wide screen and regular. When I first saw them I thought they where a waste of money but now Im real happy with them. I take it in the city and it doesnt take you down the wrong way on one way streets or anything. It saved my butt a few times already!
Now one not. Im not sure about other brands but you cant 100% rely on it. I was going to a race in virginia which there are really no highways near the race. Anyways I went there a few times before and got confused with the map directions so I figured Id let the Garmin do the work. Let me tell you Ill NEVER do that again! It took me down a road where Id go up a mountain down a mountain 3 f'n times! I started getting worried when I went through a "town" which consisted of 3 trailers and a double wide... I swear to you I heard bandjo's plyin! I thought Id either need brakes or a trany when I got there!

I have the Garmin NUVI 680 and it is great-- came with MS Direct which shows traffic, gas prices (not Diesel), show times and weather. The newer is the NUVI 760.

I've got the Garmin 200w and it is very easy to use. I also have an in-dash Pioneer Avic-3 and the nav on it is harder to use. I'd go with a garmin.

Yeah, i ended up getting another Garmin Nuvi 260. I am very happy with the ease of use of the garmin. I have used the in dash systems before and was not happy with the operation of them.
