New Gauges

I have just ordered a new set of autometer ultralite 2 gauges and I ordered a boost 0-35psi and a pyrometer 0-1600 degree temp gauge. My question is should I have done the 0-60 boost and the 0-2000 pyro. Those just looked like to many numbers to me. What do you guys think.

My opinion I would say you should be fine. If you just do normal towing, driving, and don't go to drag strips and race all the time...I wouldn't worry. My EGT's never see over 1,200....and PSI has never reached it's 35 limit yet either. So I guess what I'm saying is, if you are maxing out those gauges, you should be adding a tranny upgrade, lift pumps, and a water/meth kit to your list...

Okay thanks. I am going to do a tranny upgrade soon, probably a lift pump and upgrading my PPE. Also was thinking about a water/meth kit but not sure. I just like to have lots of power but im also not going to be pullin or dragin every week. Still think that those are fine?

As mentioned should work out fine!!

I've only maxed out my 1600 egt gauge once while running the race tune, going up hill with my 5er attempting to stay ahead of my buddy.
