They wont give you a fine, the first time. But if you are wanting better mileage go with Banks they are the cleanest tunes on the market, and have built in safety features.
what about his egr block plate i just read about. do i still need this in my 2009? the pictures of the soot build up was nasty. is this also going to mess up my warranty. what else do i need for the code warning light on this new 09

The egr will cycles depend on idling,fuel type use and such..I can tell you that I can watch my truck commanded egr w/tuner..You should block the egr soon as possible.As for doing away with the ses,there are several tuners that'll do that!
If you're worried about warranty,leave it be..
I took my truck to the dealer once when my shift cable for my alli broke...I knew I wanted to mod it,so I just didn't worry bout the warranty..Helps if it's paid for also,i know having notes and a repair bill may be a lot for some folks...

What can an After market intake do for me. I had an 05 1500 gasser before the dmax and let me say after owning the oil burner for a little over two months, will never return to a gasser. I had a k&N cold air intake kit on the 5.3 and loved it. Will i like it on the dmax?

Does the banks setup void warrenty? I put $3200CND down on my warrenty and dont wanna lose it for a programmer. Is there a way to have a programmer and when something happens, disconnect it and reset the computer??
