I went to the dealer today, for the lady to pick out a new tahoe, so were sitting there while their doing the deal and the sales man asked what i drove, so i told him. He says kind of with a grin lets get this 09 duramax out on the highway, then when we get done you can bring that dodge by here and ill sell ya the tahoe and the max. So i said ahh what the heck, i get it out on the road let er warm up doing about 20 mph, and i just stick it thru the floor, let me tell ya boys, this thing is an absolute rocket, i dont know what they are doing but i wish dodge would take notes. I would never trade my dodge, but i am starting to sway i would love to see what i could get into one for but ill have to pay my dodge off first, cause it aint goin nowhere. Question is, have they done anything different in the 09 year model cause i have driven and rode in plenty older ones that didnt hold a candle to this one, and also why hasent dodge done the same thing, do you lose torque?
dirty-maxes are fast i wont lie but i'd still have a cummins over anything else
that makes sense, this thing was wicked, does anyone know if they have changed anything in 09? the sales man, just about crawled in the back seat as i was roasting factory new tires, on a truck with 8 miles on it...
The NBS D-MAXes 07.5 to 09 have been bumped up to 365hp and 665 torq,from (360hp 06.5 to 07) and (310hp 04.5 to 06) and (300hp 01 to 04)and the way they setup the 6 speed in the 06 and newer trucks they get going in a hury.
