i have some uni balls with a 1 inch bolt going threw for ball joints from full throttle suspention. i was told by a buddy to look into putting 5 ton ball joints in my 2500hd. what do you guys think or have experiance with? i already had to replace both uniballs once after a year of use.
i just want the best and strongest
Uniballs are stronger (if the right material/size is used), but aside from that you're either stuck figuring out your Uniball situation or going with a solid front axle setup of some kind. That's really the only way to remove that particular weak link in the front steering/suspension setup.
Spherical bearings have been around for a long time.
