real milage test

gonna perform a real world fuel milage test on my next tank of fuel, you can see what i have in my sig. and ill be runnin my milage tune in town and my 75hp dd tune on the freeway, i run about 80% freeway we will see how my DIC fuel milage is compared to hand calculated, ill also be running 60mph on the freeway, have a few good 4% grade hills to go up and down on my way to and from work, will be updating to tell yall whats up! alright see ya in a couple days when i start!

day 1: DIC 22.8mpg
day 2: DIC 20.8mpg, had a lil more in town today
day 3: DIC 19.8mpg, had to do a WOT manuver today to avoid a bad situation with a semi, and had more in town driving
Day 4: DIC 19.8mpg
Day 5: DIC 19.6mpg, had a period of extended idle this morning
Day 6: DIC 19.9mpg, ended test 248.8 miles 12.8 gallons used makin me at 19.4 mpg hand calculated

we be startin this test off right! i know tho that the DIC is off but damn, like i said i drove 60mph on the freeway all the way to work and back and this is where we sit back at my house after a 25 mile round trip

i did this once, before i got my lift and 35's
its crazy how much of a differnece in your driving style changes the how much fuel these engines use.
i averaged 20.33 mpg hand calculated on a tank of about 30/70 city highway driving.

Yea it is crazy, after this tank I'm going to drive 65 mph on the free way and accelerate in town like normal and see the diffrence

And S&B air intake good to be driving a diesel again. 2002 Chevy silverado 2500 HD, LB7, traded it on a gasser and then traded it in for LBZ.
