High Idle, good or bad?! - Page 2

I have both in my truck. And use it every time I start the truck. Mine had just under 10000 hrs on it when the pistons went and half of those hrs was just idling. Never had any fuel in my oil even with bad injectors. The lb7's my be different as far getting fuel in oil.

^^^^ x2 that is correct, of course from a "super moderator" Just noticed that made me laugh

I will add the elevated idle for cold starts started with the LLYs up.

They warm up too slow that's why they invented high idle haha have you ever started your truck in below 0 temps? It would take an hour for it to get up to near operating temp.
