Yeah, I'm totally sold on this dmax. I know if something goes wrong it will be expensive, just because it's a diesel, but I'm certain it will be an improvement over the turd f150 I have now.

Like I said, I just need to sell the wife. Hopefully by this weekend I'll be a dmax owner.

Quick ?, what's a good additive for ulsd for us northerners that experience temperatures from -40 to -15c through the winter to prevent geling?

My father in law says that diesels like to work. I don't have a trailer or toys or anything. My main reason for this purchase is cost savings as I put on a lot of miles in my line of work. Is it true that not hauling or working the truck is not good for it? I would have thought that by it not working hard it would prolong the life of the truck.

I have tonight and tomorrow to talk her into it. Fingers crossed guys. This is the truck for me. Won't get better highway mileage out of a gasser.

You can always tell her what I told my old lady. "Just think about all the extra money I'll make pulling people out and towing their vehicles when they're broke down that I can spend on you". It worked for me lol
