My experience today at the dealer.

So my friend just bought a 04 LB7. Supposedly had the injectors done a year ago but it smokes white. A lot. So we went up to the big GM dealer near us and went to the diesel shop. Asked the guy if he could check the balance rates on his truck. He said "there's no way to check a bad injector and there's no way to check balance rates, I have no idea what you're talking about". I was confused and asked him some some more questions and told him you could check the balance rates and he got realllyyy mad. Started to raise his voice and get angry. I told him my CTS can check balance rates and he called me a "

ing idiot" and that there was absolutely no way possible to check a bad injector. He said the only way to do it is swap new ones in and hope it runs better. And that you have to do all 8. He also said it takes 6 hours to replace each injector. I asked for the injector cleaner that gm has and he said it.doesn't exist. Even though I bought a bottle from there a few months ago.

i would definately be talking to the service manager. that is the #1 way to lose customers is to fill them full of crap, 1 because you dont know and think you do or 2 by lying to them to try and get more money, i know for a fact that it doesnt take any 6 hours per injector. report that idiot!!
