You Might not believe this..

So a few weeks ago Im driving from South Carolina to Maine.
Half way through the trip some thing starts knocking in my motor.
I drove the thing like I always do (heavy foot ) Home.
I thought I was having the fuel Knock problem I had experienced once before.
I continued to drive it.
I took it for a trip up north here in Maine and thought the sound was getting louder, I rode the skinny pedal Hard !!!!!
I finally called the chevy guys while driving it home, they asked, any loss of power , NOPE, any bad fuel milage changes, NOPE any funny colored smoke from tail pipe, NOPE. They said bring it in when you get a chance.
A few days later, after towing my 6x10 downeast trailer full of red oak home from a tree job, I swung by to let them listen. they brought out the best diesel guy.... He put the truck on a computer and went through a series of turning on and off the injectors. Changed nothing !!!!
They asked me to leave it so I did!!!!
The next day I get a call and the start asking me about programers, and I told the the truck was BONE STOCK !!!!! always has been. they asked about the Cognito leveling kit, I told them it was for my summer tires to fit under the nose. another day goes by and they call me up and tell me, "The engine is coming out of the truck". I could not believe it !!!
Another day goes by and they call and tell me the # 4 piston they found they could turn it a quarter turn to each side. Roller bearing! scored engine the works!!! After jumping through all the CHevy hoops, a BRNAD NEW ENGINE shows up NO B.S. and when I picked it up today the told me to be on the safe side they put in a BRAND NEW TURBO!!!! NO B.S. I signed some papers and was out the door. NO B.S. thing is unreal !!!!! Photos are 1) old one just out on the floor and opened up

Sounds good. I don't know whether to call that good luck that the dealership put you a brand new motor and turbo in or bad luck that the old one went out so soon. Either way enjoy

Sorry I was not able. The story gets better, I needed a car, they gave me a 2012 Chevy Malibu, I drove it back to SC and stayed down there four 14 days while the truck was getting fixed and dropped it off today picked up my truck signed the papers done!!!!!
